Crafting Waves: The Story Behind Our Sea-Inspired Jewellery

Nestled a stone's throw from the relentless waves of the Atlantic, our family's life has always been deeply entangled with the ocean. Its raw natural beauty and the endless inspiration it offers have culminated in the creation of my sea-inspired jewellery collection. Each piece I create carries a fragment of the ocean. More so, our dedication goes beyond just creating; we've committed to donating a portion of our sales to the SANCCOB (https://sanccob.co.za/), a guardian of our marine heritage.

The Inspiration Behind the Jewellery

For me, inspiration has unfolded in countless moments of awe standing at the edge of the vast Atlantic. Rock hopping from rock pool to rock pool and investigating the inhabitants within. Squinting our eyes against the setting sun, searching for husbands, uncles and friends catching the cold Atlantic waves.

These moments—whether it's the dance of light on the water at dawn, the rugged beauty of weather-beaten shores, or the intricate patterns left by retreating waves—serve as muses for my Jewellery.

Handcrafting the Sea-Inspired Jewellery

Each piece of jewellery I create is a labor of love and respect for the ocean. Handcrafting these items allows for a level of detail and authenticity that machines cannot replicate.

Supporting Ocean Conservation

Our connection to the ocean isn't just about inspiration; it's about responsibility. With world ocean day coming up on the 8th of June we are committed to donating 10% of our sales to SANCCOB. It allows us to contribute to the preservation of marine life and habitats directly. Each jewellery purchase helps a little to fund critical conservation projects, research, and education initiatives designed to protect our seas for future generations.
